brb..again!

indeed the words of my mum is true.
I will gain weight once im pregnant. I've put on a couple of kgs since I have the lil one.
I have so many things to do and so lil time. shall brb. ^_^

Back for good...I hope!

Current Weight: 45kg (gained 2kg since last yr...wooot!)

I'm going to bring back this blog up again. Why? I see so many blogs on losing weight but I seldom see blogs about gaining weight. Even if there are, they would either be selling their crap products or someone who wants to build some muscles. bleargh!

Try asking people how to gain weight and you'll likely see them staring back at you...and say, "You want to grow fat for wat ah?!".

And if I'm lucky enough to get a response to that question, it will probably involve the words "eat more". That, despite being obvious, is great advice. Quite simply, to gain weight you will need to up your calorie consumption to the point where you consume more calories than you expend.

After a trip to the Mdm Dietician's office last year ruled out medical causes *e.g. thyroid* for my inability to bulk up. I guess my next step is to naturally have this journal so that I can keep track of what I eat. It can be a lonely struggle for those who want to put on weight because majority of my friends are complaining they're fat.

This is what Mdm Dietician had advised me.

- Tuna and half boiled-eggs for breakfast/in between meals consecutively
- Buttered bread for breakfast
- Soyabean milk
- 2 servings of fruit
- More sleep/relax
- Exercise lightly thrice weekly

My biological clock has changed since I'm married. I sleep at 11pm most of the time and wake up at 6am. I can squeeze a 30min of sleep during lunchtime now. I don't do more freelance projects than I can handle to give me more sleep and relaxation time *also to spend quality time with my man..being happy = less stressful mahhh! heh*.

Today I have a bad breakfast actually:

Breakfast
- 3 slices of toast with nutella spread
- a handful of honeystars
- half of cup of teh susu
- 1 packet of uncle toby's fruit twists

Probably going to cook up french toast with tuna for breakfast tomorrow.

- 1 huge serving of pattaya rice (basically fried rice wrapped in egg with slices of fishballs, chicken, cuttlefish, cucumber slices and salad)
- 1 packet of uncle toby's fruit twists
- 1 muesli bar

- A plate of rice
- a serving of sotong curry
- fishh

Supper
- chocolate cookies 8)

And I'm going to stock up my work drawer with tuna and crackers later. The whole room will smell of tuna..hahahaa.

I'm back!

Weight: still 43kg

I've been taking HerbaLife products since last Saturday. The taste of the vanilla milk powder made me almost puke everytime. yucks!!! And I hate pills. I have to down them with any sweet beverage like milo. hehe.

And I shit like twice daily now. Maybe the Herbalife milk powder is just too much for me?

For now I'm eating and eating. My stomach growls for food like every 3hrs. Munching on a yoghurt bar now.

Day x: I lost track!

hahha...I actually lost track after my short holidays. Suddenly I wasn't enthusiastic abt gaining weight. I decided to get that HerbaLife product. mummy was recommended the product too. But of course, to lose weight, lah! hah. I have so much work now that I have been eating irregularly. Skipped breakfast today and had my lunch only at 3pm. yikes! Weight has been constant. 43kg. shites. but at least it hasnt been dropping. So I'm still glad. 8)

Day 5 + 6 : Dead tired

Current weight: 43 kg

I had juz gotten back from a short trip to my aunt's house in Kampung Parit Sulong near Muar in Malaysia. The 6th child got married today and my meals were not that regular nor healthy today. I didn't update yesterday cos I was very tired. Teaching and packing up stuffs for tomorrow's trip.

Yesterday:

Breakfast
- 2 half boiled eggs
- 1 cup of milo
- 2 slices of bread

Lunch
- half a plate of rice
- vege + 1/4 of scrambled egg

Breaktime
- half a slice of pizza

Dinner
- 2 white fish pieces + coleslaw + waffle fries at LJS

Supper
- a plate of rice
- vege + 1/4 of scrambled egg + asampedas ikan

And today:

Breakfast
- 1 butter roll
- a slice of toasted bread wif kaya

Lunch
- A plate of briyani rice with 2 pieces of chicken

Dinner
- mee maggi tomyam

Gonna eat my dunkin donuts later for supper. mueheheeee...

Btw, shall be MIA till Wednesday. Will be filling my stomach with food from Port Dickson. yippeeeeeeeeeee~

Day 4: More carbo perhaps?

Current weight: 43kg

Extracted from nutrition.com.sg. Carbohydrates are the best source for providing energy (fuel) for the body, protein (meat) converts poorly to energy in the absence of carbohydrate. So if he only eats protein and very little carbohydrate, most of the protein will be converted to energy, leaving very little for storage which could be the reason he has trouble gaining weight.

So perhaps I should eat more carbohydrates? Things like rice, bread, noodles, cereals, buns and even starchy vegetables like potatoes, yams & sweet potatoes.

Maybe I should try that HerbaLife weight gainer toots wanna introduce? Maybe I should get some multivitamin pills as suggested by the boyfriend? Maybe..maybe I am thinking too much and should just stop typing and eat my slice of honeydew now?

Breakfast
- 3 slices of bread with jam and butter
- 1 glass of HL milk

I need to get a pack of soyabean milk later before my class.

- 1 plate of rice + chicken curry *yesterday's dish lah*
- 1 serving of vege

Dinner
- 1 plate of rice + chicken curry *2 piece of chicken*

And just before sleeping, I had
- 2 slices of buttered bread with jam
- 1 glass of HL milk

I forgot to buy the soyabean milk though. heh. And not much in-betweens for today either.

Day 3: I havent disappeared yet

Current weight: 43kg

The food that went into my stomach today:

Breakfast:
- 3 choc chips cookie
- A glass of milk
- 1 huge slice of papaya

Lunch:
- 2 pieces of fish + coleslaw + waffle fries at LJS
*it's not healthy but hey, it's fish!*

Dinner:
- 1 plate of rice
- 1 serving of long beans + chicken curry *drumstick for me*

No in-betweens today but I shall eat something later. As I'm typing this, I'm sipping a glass of HL milk. More proteins and calcium. *shows muscle*
